The price per student is $1,449.00 CAD + HST. This amount includes 4 days of hands-on learning followed by an evaluation day conducted by a third-party SPRAT evaluator. Group discounts are available.
PREREQUISITES
SPRAT Level I Technician: This is the entry level of training, there are no prerequisites.
SPRAT Level II Technician: 500 hours of experience as a Level I and 6 months since Level I certification.
SPRAT Level III Technician: 500 hours of experience as a level II and 6 months since Level II certification.
THE COURSE EXPERIENCE
Length: 5 days (4 days of training, 1 day of evaluation)
Content: The vast majority of the course content is hands-on practical learning under the supervision of a Level III Instructor. Students can expect to spend most of their time with us in their harness and "on-rope" learning critical skills and procedures, in preparation for their evaluation. A short theory component is also included in a classroom setting.
Student to Instructor Ratio: Tundra Rescue takes pride in prioritizing quality over volume. Our training classes do not exceed 8 students, with a guaranteed minimum student instructor ratio of 8:1.
What About Equipment?: All training equipment is provided by Tundra Rescue for the duration of the course. High quality Rope Access PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is assigned to students individually on day 1 of the course.
The Facility: Our Rope Access training facility is purpose-built for Rope Access training. It is designed specifically for the purpose of providing students with a dynamic and comfortable learning environment. It is located on the Tundra Group Ranch and Training Grounds in beautiful Clearview, Ontario at: 1393 Centre Line Road, Stayner ON.
